  7. My son had meningitis when he was two weeks old. He is lucky to be alive and not brain damaged or deaf, but when he is nervous, his speech is affected. Sometimes, other kids are mean to him. This story hit me right in the heart. Yes, words are very powerful and the words that told this story touched me very much. Thank-you for the post and thank you for telling this story.
